It is late winter 2026, My teachers name is Dr. Egresitz in York Central High School.

This hands-on course introduces students to the fundamentals of woodworking, blending product design, craftsmanship, and modern manufacturing techniques. Students will develop key skills, including material layout, cutting wood joints, assembly, sanding, staining, and finishing. Projects include creating a small bench, bedside table, and a step stool. A key focus is on transforming raw materials into finished products while following demonstrations and written procedures. Students will also document their progress through project journals, tracking each step and reflecting on their design and construction processes.
